Some bad news from our favorite football team this afternoon, as offensive lineman and former Howard Stern Show guest Darnell Stapleton will be placed on IR with an injured right knee. Stapleton had not practiced since the beginning of camp, and had arthroscopic surgery at the beginning of August.

George Hincapie (Columbia-HTC) won the USA Cycling pro road championship on Sunday in Greenville, South Carolina.
Hincapie out-kicked Andrew Bajadali (Kelly Benefit Strategies) for the stars and stripes. The pair caught late escapee Jeff Louder (BMC), who held on for third, in the final kilometer.
